Smart Education for the society

Education is a procedure for learning. It is generally imparted by someone more learned to individuals who seek knowledge on various aspects like culture, language, literature, mythology, habits, history and many more topics. In India we give great importance to education.Since, the days of kings and saints children were sent to "gurukuls" where young children were imparted education by saints who were masters of various subjects like vedas, upanishadas, shashtras, etc. The process involved sending a child to boarding schools, in which a student needs to stay in the premises in dorms/hostels.
The society today has changed a lot and has adopted lot of cultural changes too, be it from the eastern world or the western world. Traditional form of education is now becoming obsolete, as students now need to be smart enough to cope up with today's randomly changing world. Students now a days get answers to their questions at the touch of a button. Laptops, Tablets and Smart phones have thousand's of utilities and applications that enable children to study and learn smartly.
Internet technology plays a big role today to transform today's education process to smarter learning methods. The world  now uses more e-learning methods where children can save on buying books and stationeries. The contents can be shared or copied from one system to another. Online tutorials or lectures saves both time and money of students who cannot afford to travel or pay by visiting the institutions located at far and distant places. Today, technology is so advanced that we can be present virtually thousands of miles away to attend any college/school and yet be able to get the benefit of live classroom study. Hat's off to the millions of education software, apps, utilities, games and dedicated persons who are devoting their day and night to build a society that will change traditional education  to a  smarter learning platform.

Why we need technology?

Before we answer the question, let us first understand the term "technology". When early humans carved their first stone equipments (spears, axes, knives, etc.) did they know that what they were doing will shape the world, that was technology. From lifeless stones to life giving mirco-chips technology is everywhere. We can't even think of a day without technology, it has become an integral part of our life.
We have moved from caves to smart homes, pre-designed to meet our mood. They detect whether we are happy or sad, the walls change their colour, music players know what to play to make you happy. When you lie down on your bed it checks your pulse, your blood pressure and sends a report instantly to your doctor. Did our ancestors ever thought that our bed would be that smart, probably not.
So, now lets go to our question "why we need technology?". Well, the answer is simple. We need technology to live. We can't even imagine a day without taking use of technology. The food we eat to live uses technology to grow, preserve and get cooked. Drinking water takes use of technology to make it free from impurities. Our home sweet homes takes use of several technologies so that we can live comfortably.
Human beings need three things to survive Food, water and shelter. However, today, we need to add the fourth "technology" to complete our survival list.
